Meet the Team

David Turney, Managing Director

Dave heads up Turneys Tree Care and Landscaping/Ground Maintenance.

Dave has over 35 years experience in the trade and deals with tree surgery and grounds maintenance contracts for Local Authorities and Private Sector clients, in and around Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Peterborough.

Steven Turney, Director

Steve Turney has over 35 years experience in the trade and heads up Turneys Construction; dealing with both hard and soft landscaping projects; on a large and small scale.

Our construction works range from roof gardens and large industrial sites to small gardens. Steve deals with many large companies in the construction business and recently completed works at DP World in Dartford and Hallsville Quarter, Canning Town, London.

Various new projects are underway with others commencing in due course.

Adrian Turney, Director

Adrian Turney heads up Turneys Rail with the assistance of Justin Matthews; he also assists in looking after Turney Highways.

Adrian has over 35 years experience in the field and Turneys Rail undertakes works such as: site clearance, CESS/walkway vegetation clearance, structure clearance, herbicide application, station & car park vegetation control, tree removal, thinning, pruning, crown lifting, pollarding and stump removal.

Robert Cox, Director

Robert Cox looks after Turney Highways with Adrian Turney; with 35 years experience.

Turney Highways carry out a wide range of Highways Maintenance operations, ranging from tree surgery, grass cutting, hedge cutting, pot hole repairs, to fencing and small traffic management schemes.

Works are carried out for Construction and Land Management companies and private households alike.

Paul Nye, Contract Manager

Paul is one of the longest serving members of the Turney team, initially joining the company in 1985. With a wealth of industry knowledge, Paul is based at our Hertford branch. From Hertford he oversees the company’s largest single contract, partnering Ringway Jacobs on the Transport for London North East Region contract. In addition, Paul also assists with the compilation of one-off large project bids, maintenance contracts and on occasion, provides support for the Turney Rail Division.

Ken Woolley, Business Development Manager

Ken has been with Turneys for four years and has over 35 years sales-experience, primarily in the utilities sector.

Ken helps to generate Turneys new business and to look after (and expand) existing accounts. Ken also compiles Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, both for public and private sector work opportunities.

Jake Turney, Project Manager

In June 2003, Jake Turney joined Turned Landscapes.  Since joining, Jake has become an important member of the Company driving the business forward ensuring the core values of quality, safety, teamwork and innovation are fundamental to the business.  

Jake has a diverse range of experience on construction projects ranging from roof gardens and industrial estates to small gardens.  With over 15 years of experience in management and construction techniques, Jake has a proven track record in project managing multi-discipline sites.  In recent years, he has been involved in the restoration of many parks and gardens, the design and build of construction projects on roofs and implementing complex landscape schemes within tight inner city locations. 

Jake is also responsible for all industrial relations issues, maintaining good relationships with all staff involved on and off site. 

David Murray, Management Accountant

David started working at Turney Landscapes in April 2004 and carries out the day to day running of the Accounts department, which includes a variety of tasks from Purchase Ledger to Management Accounts. David has worked in an accounts environment for nearly 33 years.
